    Description
    • JOB SUMMARY
      • Performs invasive special procedures and heart catheterizations at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performance of these duties and procedures requires independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative. On-call responsibilities required.
    • JOB SPECIFICATIONS
      • Education and/or experience: Required: Certification - RCIS Credential; Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist. Experience as EMT, Surgical Scrub Tech or similar experience preferred. Requires current CPR and ACLS certifications.

        Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Cardiovascular Anatomy and Physiology.

        Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills. Demonstrates self-direction in improving and acquiring the skills and abilities necessary to enhance job performance.

        Abilities: Expected to have excellent manners and must represent facility in such a way that patients feel well cared for and would return to facility in future. Expected to demonstrate proper telephone etiquette, and strong attention to detail. Comfortable learning and working with new computer systems. Be able to meet or exceed patient satisfaction at all times. Must
        be able to work independently. Must be able to interact with patients and staff in a courteous, professional manner.
