    OVERVIEW:
    TeamHealth is seeking a self-motivated, high performing Data Analyst.

    This position will abstract, analyze, interpret, and report value-based care data, primarily related to the needs of Team ACO, a Medicare Shared Savings Program ACO.

    The data presented will provide insight on past performance and support the identification of improvement opportunities and clinical initiatives. This position will maintain effective and responsive relationships with leadership and key internal/external stakeholders.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Understand underlying business operations, data, data capture processes, and system integration to ensure data accuracy and integrity
    Develop and run SQL queries and other data collection techniques to support assigned business areas and organize the data into a format for ease of review and use
    Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop, test and modify reports, spreadsheets and dashboards as assigned
    Present project status updates by defining progress, problems and solutions
    Develop and maintain documentation related to data sources, data definitions, report and analyses logic
    Handles other duties as assigned by management
    Job Requirements


    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or related field or equivalent professional experience
    Two to three years of work experience in a data-driven professional setting as a data analyst
    Experience analyzing and managing large data sets
    Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of data querying techniques, especially SQL, MS SQL and MS Excel Programming
    Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Power BI/Tableau for report creation, publication, distribution, and permission/security administration
    Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio)
    Experience working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
    Prior experience with ACO data – specifically CCLF, Assignment List Report, & Beneficiary Expenditure Utilization Report data
    Prior experience with CMS data analytics, MSSP ACO analytics, or Medicare claims analytics
    Prior experience with CQMs or eCQMs
    Database management and database structure experience, including use of SSIS and SSRS tools
    Healthcare industry experience preferred
