    (NP) is the global developer, manufacturer and marketer of pre-moistened wipes for the consumer market, specializing in personal care, hygiene, household cleaning and disinfection products.

    We have several locations across the US and are looking for new Associates to join our teamPRIMARY PURPOSE / SUMMARYLeads continuous improvement on new & existing manufacturing processes.

    Drives initiatives to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

    Provides process leadership in cost reduction, product innovation, sustainability initiatives, and develops best practices and procedures for the manufacturing process.

    This role is heavily focused on optimization of the manufacturing processes through reducing process variation by establishing and maintaining data driven process controls in the manufacturing process.

    This position is part of a cross functional team and interacts with Research & Development, Quality Systems, Quality Laboratory and Quality Assurance, Engineering, Production, Warehouse, Converting, Packaging, Maintenance, Regulatory and Operations in Indiana facility.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIESProvide equipment and manufacturing process technical support for manufacturing team(s).Provide leadership and subject matter expertise to the manufacturing team(s) on equipment and process capabilitiesLeads trouble shooting and initiates continuous improvement projects for manufacturing processes, equipment, testing, and materials.

    Problem solving leader who utilizes Lean, 5S, 6 Sigma (SPC), and corrective action processes (RCCA) on equipment and process issues.

    Leads projects and resolves corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).Leads and/or coordinates process improvement trials and the technological transfer of new processes to manufacturing.

    Initiates processes and/or product quality improvements to new or existing manufacturing processesContributes to relevant design / development processes & reviewsGenerates and maintains process standards for manufacturingSeeks new and innovative ways to streamline the manufacturing plant and to implement and track improvements.

    Recommends and specifies equipment, materials, or processes.

    Supports validation processes and activities; assists and executes protocols, as neededCreates and implements and verifies SOP's, Work Instructions and forms as needed for new or revised products and processes.

    Ensures compliance with ISO 9000:2000 and cGMP's.

    Responsible for production/process system improvements and improving reliability of operations through the development, testing, and implementation of new technology and driving process operation effectiveness.

    Supports other technical resources with project objectives.

    QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
    Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial engineering or equivalent technical degree


    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
    Manufacturing packaging equipment experience in medium to high-speed continuous & intermittent processesRCCA Training & KnowledgeIndustrial mechanical & electrical system knowledgeProject Management training or experienceWorking knowledge and experience in CGMP and ISO requirements

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/PREFERRED:
    4-8years manufacturing / process engineering experience in a high-speed manufacturing environmentManufacturing process control, continuous improvement and problem-solving experienceProven design of experiment (DOE) experience in manufacturing processesRCCA training or certificationProficient in the use of: Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, AutoCAD, PowerPoint, and AccessExperience in an ISO or cGMP regulated environment

    SKILLS/ABILITIES:
