    Job Summary:

    · We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Business Analyst with a strong background in Property & Casualty Insurance.

    · The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business analysis, data analytics, and technical skills in ANSI SQL, Snowflake, and JSON.

    · With a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of 14 years of experience, this role is pivotal in driving our strategic initiatives and enhancing our market position.

    Experience: 10 to 14yrs.

    · Nice to have skills: Technical Skills: ANSI SQL, Snowflake, JSON Domain Skills:

    · Technology: Cloud DW development

    Roles & Responsibilities: -

    · Analyze complex business problems and assess how automated systems can be implemented to solve them –

    · Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives -

    · Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the IT team to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and goals –

    · Conduct in-depth data analysis using ANSI SQL and Snowflake to derive insights and support business decisions –

    · Design and implement robust business intelligence solutions to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities –

    · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project delivery within timelines and budgets –

    · Stay abreast of industry trends in Property & Casualty Insurance to recommend improvements and innovations –

    · Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies throughout project lifecycles –

    · Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement –

    · Utilize JSON for efficient data interchange between systems and applications –

    · Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication and regular project updates –

    · Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process enhancements –

    · Leverage technical skills to optimize business processes and increase operational efficiency-

    · Qualifications –

    · Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain is mandatory –

    · Strong technical proficiency in ANSI SQL, Snowflake, and JSON is highly desirable –

    · Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills –

    · Superior communication and stakeholder management abilities –

    · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment –

    · Demonstrated experience in data analysis and business intelligence –

    · A track record of successful project delivery and process improvement initiatives.

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    The annual salary for this position is $110,000-$135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
