    Commission Engineer - Direct Hire

    The ideal candidate will commission, calibrate, and service new or modified equipment at the customer's facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications. This role involves assembling, debugging, and adjusting the electronic and electro-mechanical components of machines during the assembly process in the manufacturing department, both at customer sites and the company's own facility.

    Key responsibilities include debugging controls hardware and software, and providing training on company products to customer representatives. Candidates should hold an Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent; BSEE/BSME degrees are preferred but not required.

    Experience requirements include a minimum of 5 years in an automotive/machine tool manufacturing environment, with an equivalent combination of education and experience also considered. High-level proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC programming is crucial. The ability to read and understand technical drawings, build control panels, and familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred) are essential.

    Candidates must possess strong communication, math, and computer skills. The position requires up to 75% travel, sometimes internationally, demonstrating a need for flexibility and adaptability in dynamic work environments.
