- Heavily concentrated on prospecting new donor opportunities and developing deeply meaningful relationships with high net-worth constituents and stakeholders for the purpose of soliciting and closing high six- and seven-figure philanthropic gifts.
- This position will join the Individual Giving team and will be responsible for managing three direct reports.
- Highly adept in matching donor interests with institutional fundraising priorities and will work alongside institution faculty, volunteers, and leadership to cultivate prospective donors and grateful families.
- The Director, Major Gifts, and his/her team is expected to generate a minimum of $5-6 million in gift revenue annually.
- Bachelor's degree, required
- CFRE preferred, not required
- Nine years or more of professional experience in portfolio-based fundraising with experience securing six- and/or seven-figure major gifts
- Three years supervisory experience
- Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate program may substitute for one year of required or management experience
- Travel required (40-50%) to meet with new and existing donors

Position Summary:
Our client, a world renown and well-respected healthcare center, is seeking a Director, Major Gifts. This Director will be dedicated to securing sustained transformational philanthropic support for the organization by engaging with new and existing donors across the United States.
Responsibilities:
This position is remote but will need to be based in Texas and available to travel to Houston 4-5 times a year for meetings.
Position Requirements:
