    Description

    Job Description and Duties

    Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) is the automated delivery, redemption, settlement and reconciliation of food benefits provided under the state's CalFresh Program, as well as cash aid benefits. This position will plan, organize, coordinate, supervise, and monitor the day-to-day activities for the procurement and implementation of new California EBT Services (known as EBT 4). This includes the transition of Food and Cash EBT to new EBT Services, as well as the statewide implementation of eWIC EBT (the automation of the food benefits issued under the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children [WIC]). In addition, this position will plan, organize, and direct the workloads of staff responsible for project administration, contract and change management, and financial management activities through all project phases.
