DescriptionChoice Property is seeking an experienced full-time Assistant Manager with HUD experience for our Senior Citizen property. This beautiful 150-unit apartment building is located in Burbank. The property has a very low turnover rate and no rent delinquencies.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Assistant Manager:
- Complete annual and interim certifications for all residents in accordance with company and HUD Section 8 guidelines
- Assist in all aspects of leasing, including, but not limited to, accepting and processing applications, conducting interviews for prospective new move-ins, preparing documentation associated with certification and recertification processes, and maintaining a waiting list.
- Complete tenant move-ins and move-outs in compliance with company procedures
- Additional tasks as assigned by management
Required Qualifications:
- Must be friendly, courteous, and agreeable.
- A minimum of 3 years of property management experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Onesite experience required.
- Must have a credit history that demonstrates sound financial decision-making, responsibility, and reliability.
- Background and credit checks will be performed.
- We enforce a zero-tolerance drug-free environment.
Valid California driver's license, clean driving record, and insurance required
Must meet all physical requirements and be able to read, write and communicate in English.
