    Purpose of PositionAs a Data Engineer, your role is pivotal in supporting various teams across the company in data gathering, storage, and analysis, contributing to the enhancement of our data infrastructure and practices.

    The role is fundamental to our organization's data ecosystem, serving as the architect and builder of data pipelines and infrastructure.

    With a focus on efficiency and reliability, this role ensures seamless data flow from collection to storage to analysis, empowering teams across the company to derive actionable insights.

    You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions, optimizing data processes, and maintaining data integrity.

    You will play a critical role in shaping our data strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring the highest standards of data quality and governance.

    Education, Experience & Skillsbachelors degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related/equivalent field or experiencePython (Standard Library, Pandas, Numpy, Pydantic)Experience in Google Cloud or equivalent cloud service provider.

    Emphasis on design and deployment of serverless data solutions.

    GCP certifications or proven cloud experience essentialUnderstanding of core enterprise data concepts and technologies:
    warehouses, ETL technologies, OLTP data stores, multiple RDBMSs.

    Emphasis on experience in BigQuery or equivalentBig data gathering, processing, monitoring and maintenanceStrong planning and organizational skills; strong time and resource management skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    Good communication and teamwork skills.

    The role will consist of but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

    This role has a high level of autonomy, you will be responsible for defining and creating projects and driving your successSupport a variety of teams in data gathering, storage, analysis and best practicesExploratory data analysis of a variety of data sources including natural language and other qualitative sourcesImprove data quality and consistency by identifying and setting forth strategies for removing duplicates and missing data from source/record systems across functionsDevelop scalable data processing pipelinesProduce data model documentation outlining standards, guidelines, and strategies across the companyImprove alignment of project decisions to data road maps by performing governance over projects to check for compliance with defined architecture and standardsMaintains strong awareness of the security, privacy, ethics, and quality requirements for critical data entitiesKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:High level organization: ability to be process orientated and employ effective forward planningSelf-motivated and organizedAbility to multi-task and manage numerous projectsPersonal commitment & can-do attitudeHands on personalityDrive, energy, enthusiasm & determination to succeedMethodical and analytical high attention to detailInterpersonal skills and language abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities, while meeting deadlinesAbility to add creatively and enhance existing work processesWe are a nationwide provider of security solutions and an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workforce.
