Overview:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) collaborates with business leaders to develop and implement human resources strategies that support the organization's overall objectives.
The HRBP serves as a trusted adviser and consultant to management on HR-related issues, ensuring the effective delivery of HR programs and services.
The HRBP will travel for regular onsite visits and to attend meetings at various locations.Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Planning:
Partner with business leaders to understand organizational goals and develop HR strategies to achieve them
Align HR initiatives with the overall business strategy
Employee Relations:
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
Handle employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution
Talent Management:
Work with business units to identify and address talent needs
Assist in workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning
Performance Management:
Collaborate with managers to ensure effective performance management processes
Provide coaching and guidance on performance improvement plans
Learning and Development:
Identify training needs and collaborate with the training and development team to design and deliver relevant programs
Support career development initiatives
Change Management:
Assist in managing organizational change initiatives
Communicate changes and facilitate smooth transitions
HR Metrics and Reporting:
Analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs
Provide regular reports to management on HR-related activities
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations
Stay informed about changes in HR laws and best practices
Employee Engagement:
Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives
Measure and analyze employee satisfaction and propose improvements
Collaboration and Communication:
Foster strong partnerships with business leaders and departments
Communicate HR initiatives and policies effectively to all levels of the organization
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience as an HRBP or in a similar HR role
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to build relationships and influence at all organizational levels
Knowledge of UKG HR software a plus but not required
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is desirable
