- Review trauma admission records for data collection and abstraction.
- Analyze all records for quality assurance trauma standards recommended by governing bodies and as stipulated by regulatory groups.
- Perform the abstraction, coding (ICD) and application of all trauma data points in the registry taken primarily from inpatient trauma cases.
- Apprise program coordinator of all relevant trauma audit filter inconsistencies via periodic quality assurance reports. Produce various other quality assurance reports as directed.
- Registrar specializing in Trauma Registry preferred.
- High School diploma equivalency and 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Trauma Registrar with trauma registry experience highly preferred
- CAISS certification preferred
