    DUTIES The Contractor will perform specific services that support Denova.

    The Contractor will report directly to the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), and to any other party designated by Denova in connection with the performance of the duties under this Agreement and shall fulfill any other duties reasonably requested by the Company and agreed to by the Contractor.


    Statement of Work:

    Medical Director Role:
    Provides leadership and supervision to primary care team leaders. Gives performance feedback, guides on complex medical decisions, and handles patient and staff escalations.

    Provides clinical supervises to two (2) physician assistants (PA), with a minimum of one (1) hour of supervision per PA each week.

    Provides clinical oversight to CLIA lab activities Approves medical policies developed within department and makes recommendations for new practices and procedures.

    Participates and/or leads internal initiatives, such as compliance, quality and credentialing committees as requested by CCO. Attends JOC meetings and provides clinical leadership and direction when needed Provides direction and clinical input per payor requirements/value-based agreements to meet measures when needed Provides clinical direction to manage gaps in care reporting Reviews quality of care concerns and identify need for process improvements Oversees and provides clinical guidance for performance improvement plans based on audit outcomes Other tasks as assigned by CCO when time permits
