    Job Description
    DPR Construction is seeking an applications analyst for IT operations to support the IT department's needs. This role is not just about individual contribution, but about collaborating with the asset management and mobility team, the field support team, and the service desk team. Your input will be crucial in managing the device inventory lifecycle, accessories program, user self-service portal for device and accessory selection, vendor applications, and portals.
    The application analyst will also be responsible for integrating data from multiple source systems to produce analytics and analysis to improve the IT operations, developing automation to reduce tedious and unnecessary manual data processing or business process support, creating processes to build a data mart with asset information, creating integrations with third-party systems and internal systems, and developing solutions to enhance data quality and making data available to the teams that rely on asset data.
    The application analyst must be able to gather requirements from multiple departments, analyze the issues to resolve them, and collaborate with various technical groups. Most importantly, your solutions should align with our larger organization's tactical and strategy goals, making this role a key driver of our success.
    Responsibilities
    • Build new applications that address and fix any issues shown in the current applications and reporting solutions.
    • Analyze department requirements and design efficient and effective software solutions.
    • Develop detailed specifications, flowcharts, and diagrams.
    • Gather and analyze business requirements, business processes, and process flows.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of applications, including technical specifications, user manuals, and system changes.
    • Works closely with other IT professionals, such as software developers, database administrators, and system analysts, to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
    • Collecting data from a variety of sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and external platforms
    • Cleaning the data to remove errors or inconsistencies, ensuring data quality.
    • Using statistical methods, software tools, and programming languages to clean and manipulate data, create visualizations and dashboards, and develop predictive models.
    • Delivers an efficient and valuable user experience by allowing users to select computers, mobile devices, and accessories.
    • Effectively designs solutions to automate repetitive manual processes, allowing the department's team to concentrate on creative and valuable work.
    Experience
    • Prior computer and mobility Inventory management knowledge is a must.
    • Data analysis, data visualization, and data analytics.
    • Experience in software tools to implement automation involving APIs to gather data, process data, and reflect business processes in the systems.
    • Data analysis to support the device inventory lifecycle and produce tools to manage, predict, and react to inventory utilization trends, facts, and projections.
    • Prior involvement in working with vendors to obtain data required to support the department's current and future business processes.
    • Data modeling and experience in data management lifecycle.
    Qualifications
    • Can adjust and learn new software tools or master the skill set.
    • Capable of documenting business requirements, functional and technical specifications, and technical abstract or physical concepts (data structures, integration flows, etc.).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication.
    • Work with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Is Proficient in conveying ideas and solutions in schematic representations.
    • Attention to detail and prepared to analyze data from different angles.
    • has excellent abilities in delivering support to corporate users and addressing their concerns in a way compatible with the software design.
    • Small project management skills to present the effort schedule, dependencies, and milestones.
    • Proficient in Microsoft analytics tools.
    • Efficient time management skills are essential when collaborating with multiple teams and being able to pivot based on business priorities.
    Anticipated starting pay range:
    $80, $90,000.00
