    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of outpatient experience and an active CO license for a 13-week outpatient assignment.

    Responsibilities

    • Outpatient rehabilitation therapy setting
    • Treats a variety of diagnoses with a focus on improving strength, range of motion, balance, and function
    • Work schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week, including Saturdays; weekdays will vary
    • Position is for a 13-week contract
    • Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, and patient/caregiver education for various conditions
    • On-site housing is available for travelers during the assignment, based on availability and for an additional cost
    • Radius rule applies: traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away; local candidates are not eligible
    • No declinations for flu vaccination are accepted during the mandated season
    • License required if applicable

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in physical therapy required
    • Active Colorado PT license or compact license valid for CO required
    • Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience required; 3-5 years preferred
    • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
    • Proof of current flu vaccination from the current season is required October 1 through April 1; no exemptions accepted
