    THE OPPORTUNITY:


    As a Tax and Partnership Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide variety of Partner and International accounting and tax responsibilities.

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated accounting professional who works independently, is a team player, will offer insight and solutions, and will challenge the status quo as needed.

    THE DAY-TO-DAY:

    On any given day, you will:


    • Prepare scorecards for annual compensation review for Income Partners, Equity Partners and Senior Counsels (PSG)
    • Coordinate Equity Partner monthly draw payroll with Accounting
    • Prepare Equity Partner Annual Final Distribution and Capital statements
    • Track partner capital funding, initiate capital payouts/distributions
    • Reconcile partners' draw and capital accounts
    • Prepare Equity Partner annual composite/withholding/pass-through entity tax charges
    • Prepare the workpapers for the China, Italy and Australia VAT/GST
    • Prepare workpapers for the Firm's International tax returns
    • Coordinate with local Australian tax firm to prepare Australian partner tax statement packages
    • Prepare Australian Service Trust distribution calculations and coordinate contribution with Accounting
    • Reconcile tax related accounts such as GST/VAT accounts, composite/withholding accounts
    • Maintain QuickBooks for Worksharp & Workright
    • Other tasks and projects as assigned

    YOU HAVE:

    • Bachelor's Degree Required
    • International Tax/Accounting experience preferred
    • Minimum 2-3 years of public accounting or corporate/partnership experience (preferably with an international professional services firm). Law firm experience a plus.
    • Financial analysis skills required - attention to detail is vital to success in this role. Ability to quickly identify issues
    • Microsoft Office skills and strong Excel skills are required; Elite financial system experience preferable
