    Job Title: Job Costing Lead
    Location: Boca Raton, FL, Hybrid, Hybrid with 3 days on-site, either Monday or Friday
    Duration : 06+ months
    Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day maintenance of inventory and job costing while directly supervising one or more individuals. Responsible for account reconciliations and documentation of source data (manual and systematic).
    • Review, analyze and document job processes and account reconciliation processes done outside of the GL group. Assist general ledger department with process improvements and account reconciliation efficiencies.
    • Familiar with Sarbanes Oxley requirements and assist in maintaining those controls. Interact with external and internal auditors on a regular basis. Includes supervising/mentoring other staff and senior accountants, with responsibility over career development.
    Responsibilities & Qualifications:
    • Reconcile complex general ledger accounts monthly including research and resolution of discrepancies.
    • Reconcile sub-ledgers to GL as required. Maintain and enhance financial systems and reporting mechanisms.
    • Prepare monthly journal entries and supporting schedules. Participate in month end, quarter end and year end closings.
    • Communicate with team members from other functional areas as well as external sources.
    • Comply with internal controls and best practices.
    • Provide information for auditors and other special projects.
    • Delegate work to staff as necessary.

    • Functional/technical skills- strong fundamentals in accounting and US GAAP.
    • Command skills - Ability to provide direction to others and follow up to ensure execution.
    Education/Certification:
    • Bachelors degree in accounting
    Experience:
    • 5+ years experience in accounting or related field
    • CPA or MBA, preferred. Inventory and job costing experience, required. Some supervision experiences, required. Experience with ERP ledgers systems is preferred (Oracle, SAP)
    Skills:
    • Must be organized and detail oriented, possess a strong systems background, flexible, able to work independently, good oral and written communication skills, and have worked in a large corporate environment. Understands and is able to apply technical accounting concepts. Proficient in Excel. Comfortable with and able to utilize computer technology. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Analytical thinking skills
