Our client, a Fortune 100 energy company who specializes in pioneering new research and pursuing new technologies to create more efficient forms of energy, is seeking a Research Technician to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to work at a household name, get industry best training, and work with state-of-the-art equipment, systems and products.

Location: Annandale, NJ
Pay: $22-$25 per hour
Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Interprets gas chromatography spectra and identifies and splits peaks
• Data workup and process results
• Checking quality control and reference standards

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing samples w/ UV-Vis / Fluorescence Spectroscopy/ GC-MS
• Ability to troubleshoot & repair analytical equipment, such as replace columns, septa, and other general GC maintenance.
• Experience w/ Agilent GCs w/ Chemstation or EZChrome preferred.
