    Job Title: Cerner Acute Case Management Implementation Consultant

    Duration: 1+ Year

    Type: Contract

    Location: 25% travel to northeastern USA

    Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced Cerner Acute Case Management Implementation Consultant to join our team for a contract position. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, specifically in implementing Cerner Acute Case Management end-to-end full life cycle projects in the US healthcare system. This role requires working with large, multi-facility healthcare systems and collaborating closely with providers. While not a project manager, the candidate must possess basic project management skills as they will be leading meetings, mitigating risks, and managing a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's Degree and Cerner design/build/workflow/testing/troubleshooting experience are required.

    Required Skills:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing Cerner end-to-end full life cycle projects in the US healthcare system.
    • Specific experience in implementing Cerner Acute Case Management.
    • Experience working with large, multi-facility healthcare systems.
    • Background working with providers.
    • Basic project management skills required for leading meetings, mitigating risks, etc.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
    • Bachelor's Degree.
    • Cerner design/build/workflow/testing/troubleshooting experience.

    Other:

    • 25% Travel
    • No C2C or third-party contractors

    Job Duties:

    • Lead the functional design team of Business Analysts, Cerner Consultants, and Architects through Planning, Joint Data Collection, and Application Design phases.
    • Identify and collaborate with clients on data collection and requirements gathering.
    • Develop work plans and coordinate logistics for required design workshops.
    • Work with clients to prepopulate the core DCW (Design, Configuration, Workflow) and prepare for workshops.
    • Support facilitation of a day-in-the-life session with the client to ensure alignment with project goals.
    • Create UAT (User Acceptance Testing) test plans and scripts for UAT phase.
    • Lead design sessions, including Fit/Gap Analysis with the client to ensure alignment with business needs.
    • Manage open design gaps and issues, working with the client and Cerner to facilitate resolution.
    • Produce Design Specification Documents for client approval, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
    • Provide requirements and design guidance to build, testing, and training teams through implementation phases.
    • Support project management activities such as weekly state reporting, work plan updates, and issue and risk management to ensure project success.
