    The incoming Director will lead vital initiatives in women's healthcare delivery and chart direction for the department to be a women's health leader across the missions of care, education, and scholarship.

    The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health) is part of the University of Texas System in Galveston, Texas.

    The Department of Family Medicine at UTMB was established in 1971 and was the first academic department of Family Medicine in Texas.
