Job summary
Qorvo is seeking a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Engineer to support all aspects of risk-based EHS programs for our Greensboro Facility.This role is a critical contributor to the performance and growth of the environmental, health and safety programs for the Greensboro site.
The Sr. EHS Engineer has key responsibilities for ensuring ongoing compliance with state and federal regulations applicable to site operations and maintaining strong relationships with local regulators.
- Maintain and continually improve environmental health and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer and corporate requirements.
- Conduct hazard assessments with focus on risk mitigation and good work practices addressing hazard communication, fall protection, electrical safety, lockout/tagout, confined space entry, chemical exposure machine guarding ergonomics PPE.
- Prepare maintain environmental health and safety related reports in compliance with corporate expectations sustainability commitments regulatory requirements.
