    SUMMARY:


    The Piasecki Aircraft Corporation Contracts Administrator is responsible for the administration, extension, termination and negotiation of standard and nonstandard contracts in accordance with company procedures.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Supports win strategies through decomposition of solicitation requirements and provide guidance to ensure a fully responsive proposal.


    Facilitate proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

    Examine estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.

    Prepare bids; process specifications, progress, and other reports; advise management of contractual rights and obligations; compile and analyze data; and maintain historical information.

    Track proposal submission and award status for each.
    Update (at least annually) PiAC SBIR Commercialization Report.
    Support proposal submission via online Government Portals.
    Apply Federal statutes, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to administer a group of complex contracts
    Use negotiation and communication techniques in order to conduct post award negotiations and a variety of contractual agreements
    Prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) letters to secure quotes from potential

    suppliers/subcontractors.
    Prepare/negotiate subcontract documents including FAR and DFAR flowdown requirements that result in best value services for allocated funds .
    Maintain Deliverable Tracker to ensure Deliverables are submitted on time.
    Apply cost and price analysis techniques sufficient to compare proposals
    Apply business and industry practices to identify factors affecting contractor's costs
    Apply cost accounting standards and accounting practices in order to review and draw accurate conclusions on contract provisions


    KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
    3+ years experience in aerospace/defense with overall knowledge of defense contracts
    Ability to interpret completion specifications and work orders
    Ability to establish, track and maintain current status of aircraft in work relative to contractual specifications and requirements
    Knowledge of FARS and DFARS.
    Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
    Experience with Deltek Costpoint, preferred


    EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS / CLEARANCES:
    Bachelor's degree in business administration, legal studies, pre-law, or a relevant field; master's degree preferred
    Juris doctorate is a plus
