    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Description

    Modality:

    • SLP-CCC
    • Bilingual candidates preferred
    • Sign-on Bonus: $1,500 in 3 installments: after 30 days of work, during the week of winter break, and at the end of the year.

    Grade Level: Pre-K to 8th grade

    Caseload Details:

    • A caseload of 35-45 students with 3-5 SLPs per school, a Sped supervisor in each school, and a whole team consisting of SW, speech, psych, etc.
    • District-provided regular Professional Development for all staff members on a school-based level.

    The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for performing student evaluations and providing therapy services as outlined in the plan of care developed for each individual student and physician's orders.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Active SLP licensure in the state of assignment required.
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state or contract.
    • Current CPR certification if applicable.
    • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable.
    • Current Health certificate as per contract or state regulation.
    • Meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
    • Be at least 18 years old.
