Job Summary:
The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for ensuring Clinical Pharmacy Services meet the pharmaceutical needs of Weeks MedicalCenter patients.
The Director of Pharmacy is also the Pharmacist inCharge (PIC), whose duties and responsibilities are designated by the rules andregulations of the State of NH.
The Director of Pharmacy is responsiblefor the administrative operation of the Pharmacy Department, including thedirect supervision of all Pharmacy personnel.
The Pharmacy Directorreports to the Vice President of Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Officer.Essential Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited pharmacy school with a current license to practice in the state of New Hampshire required.
At least 3
years
ofClinical Pharmacy experience in a Hospital Pharmacy setting and
at least 1 year of management/supervisory experience are required.
