Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary
Responsible for providing comprehensive oral hygiene care to dental patients including cleaning of teeth and gums as well as other applicable accepted procedures; communicates to patients information relevant to care of teeth and oral cavity, including appropriate dietary information; may assist dentist during specific procedures on patients; may take and develop x-rays, may also participate in dental training.
Graduate of a two year Dental Hygienist program. Current New York State Hygienist License required. BLS certification required.

Bilingual.

Ambulatory – 95%

Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye hand coordination when
working with patients and equipment.

Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range
Special Instructions to Applicants
Pay Range:
$90,000 annually
Position will work in Dental Main seeing scheduled and walk-in patients and/or Quick Care Dental, seeing, unscheduled, walk-in patients. This is a 40 hour per week position. Schedule will be based on location.
