    Description

    Reading and Implementing Blueprints:

    As a manual machinist, one of your primary responsibilities is to read and comprehend blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders.

    This helps you determine the methods and sequences of operations required for machining tasks.


    Operating Machinist Tools and Equipment:
    Manual machinists are adept at using various tools and machinery, including:
    Lathes : Used for turning and shaping cylindrical parts



    • Milling Machines :
    Used for cutting, drilling, and shaping materials



    • Drilling Presses :
    Used for drilling holes



    • Grinders :

    Used for precision grinding.+ These tools allow manual machinists to drill, cut, and shape materials to manufacture new parts or repair existing ones.


    • Ensuring Quality and Adherence to Specifications:

    Inspection and quality control are key components of a manual machinist's role.+ You will routinely measure and inspect your work using precision tools such as calipers and micrometers.

    This ensures that each piece meets the required specifications.


    • Maintaining and Repairing Machinery:
