    Accounting Manager


    Job Summary:
    We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team.

    The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting function, including financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls.

    Responsibilities:

    Financial Reporting:
    Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.

    Month-end Close:

    Lead month-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. Ensure timely and accurate completion of close activities.


    General Ledger Management:
    Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, reviewing entries for accuracy and completeness. Develop and implement procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data.


    Internal Controls:
    Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and mitigate financial risks. Monitor compliance and implement improvements as needed.


    Financial Analysis:
    Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and budget vs. actual analysis. Provide insights and recommendations to management to support decision-making.


    Budgeting and Forecasting:
    Assist in the development and management of the annual budget and periodic forecasts. Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.


    Audit Support:
    Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits, provide documentation, and address audit findings as needed. Ensure compliance with audit requirements.


    Team Leadership:
    Lead and develop the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support to foster professional growth and development. Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

    Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting requirements, and internal controls.

    Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
