    Accounting Documentation Specialist (internship)

    The Position:

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Documentation Specialist to join our team and contribute to our success by managing and maintaining our documentation processes.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • edit, and format a variety of documents, including manuals, reports, procedures, and technical specifications.
    • consistency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
    • version control and document history for all revisions.
    • with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate revisions.
    • and maintain document control procedures, including file naming conventions, folder structures, and access permissions.
    • the distribution of documents to internal teams, external partners, and regulatory agencies as needed.
    • opportunities to streamline documentation processes and improve efficiency.
    • and implement standardized templates, formats, and workflows to enhance consistency and usability.
    • and implement software tools or systems to support documentation management and collaboration.
    • training and support to staff on document creation, formatting guidelines, and document management procedures.
    • as a resource for inquiries related to documentation best practices, tools, and policies.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • pursuing bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field.
    • writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
    • in document formatting and style guides, such as APA, MLA, or Chicago Manual of Style.
    • with document management systems and software tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, or Adobe Acrobat.
    • organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
