Financial Analyst Job Description

Summary:

We are seeking a Financial Analyst with strong analytical skills to join our team at Interior Logic Group, Inc. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and guidance. This position entails analyzing and interpreting financial data, developing robust financial models, and offering strategic support to facilitate decision-making.

Essential Functions:

Develop and maintain intricate financial models to bolster business forecasting and planning processes.
Analyze and interpret data, financial statements, and key performance indicators.
Provide substantial support for business decision-making by evaluating financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to spearhead operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and contribute to special projects as needed.
Develop and maintain financial reporting tools to enhance visibility into business performance.
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data by maintaining robust financial data systems and controls.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.

Skills & Competencies Required:

Strong operational accounting background in a fast-paced, complex environment.
Ability to work independently and efficiently handle multiple tasks.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills.
Outstanding customer service skills with a demonstrated ability to interact courteously and patiently in customer relations.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proven track record of collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
High degree of dependability and reliability.
Clear and succinct communication skills, both orally and in writing.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with accounting principles under GAAP.
Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
Experience in the construction or real estate industry is preferred but not required.
Professional certification such as CPA or CFA is a plus.

Preferred:

SAP Experience or ERP system experience
Experience in the construction or real estate industry.
Professional certification such as CPA or CFA.

Pay Range: 80k - 93k DOE
