Safety & Quality Assurance Manager - San Diego Shipyard - Trident Maritime Systems

Description

This position will oversee both Safety and Quality groups which are currently comprised of five total direct reports (2 Safety Specialists, 2 Quality Specialists, & 1 Quality Administrative Assistant)

Experience and comfort with both areas of oversight (Safety & QA) including but not limited to:

• Reading specifications, references, and drawings and using those tools to evaluate shipboard installation
• Experience maintaining ISO-9001 compliant documentation and participating in required audits
• OSHA and Shipyard Safety Standards, including safe welding practices
• Report to work in active shipyard with occasional visits to warehouse (and potentially other shipyards depending on future awards)
• Schedule to match Production schedules or similar hours)
