Description
The Psychiatrist will be assessing and screening patients byconducting psychiatric evaluations, including interviews, medical histories,physical exams, observations, and psychological testing. You will also analyzedata and results of assessments to diagnose patients. Thoroughly documentpatient's diagnosis, symptoms, medical and treatment effectiveness. You willdevelop comprehensive treatment plans, measure the progress against the plan, andadjust as needed. The Psychiatrist will prescribe and administer medicationsaccording to diagnosis. You will monitor the patient to determine efficacy andpotential side effects of medications. Consults with other medicalprofessionals and psychologists. You will provide patients with emotionalsupport and strategies to help manage their disorder. You will alsosupervise and direct family nurse practitioners, physician assistants and othermid-level providers.
