    ***SUMMARY***

    This position is responsible for delivering or relocating heavy equipment parts and construction materials to and from vendor or shop to job sites.

    **TOTAL COMPENSATION**

    $ 32,000 - $ 54, 400

    ***ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES***

    Perform daily pre-post equipment inspections of delivery truck and if required, be able to perform basic preventive maintenance such as add fluids or add air to tires.

    Responsible for loading and unloading heavy equipment parts or construction material with the use of forklift, knuckle boom, overhead crane or by hand depending on the task.

    Safely drive to different locations and operate multiple loading equipment such as jib crane, forklift, knuckle boom, overhead crane, and pallet jack to load or unload from the truck.

    Drive a large flatbed or a pick up with a trailer to the different vendor(s) or job site locations delivering equipment, maintenance parts, or materials.

    Perform effective an efficient daily pick-up and delivery route planning prioritizing tasks.

    Must complete, track, organize and maintain equipment and material paperwork.

    Understand purchase orders and different vendor processes.

    Assist shop with parts inventory tracking.

    Perform other shop related tasks as assigned.

    ***QUALIFICATIONS***

    18 years or older with a valid Colorado Driver License

    Excellent driving record with the patience to drive most of the day under heavy traffic.

    Knowledge and understanding of loading equipment operation and basic repairs.

    Able to drive manual transmission vehicles and trucks.

    Very familiar with the Denver area and traffic patterns.

    Able to comply with all internal or external (vendors) safety rules and policies.

    Ability to work overtime, weekends, and occasional night shift if required.

    Team player with a positive attitude and the desire to learn new tasks.

    Dependable, Reliable, Honest and Trainable individual

    Ability to multitask and follow instructions.

    Able to work in a drug-free environment

    Good customer service and communication skills.

    Able to clearly identify, resolve, and communicate work tasks issues.

    ***EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE***

    **Required** : HS Diploma or GED with 1 year experience performing similar duties.

    **Preferred** : Experience in similar line of work with 1 to 2 years of experience operating forklift and other loading equipment.

    ***SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES***

    This position has No supervisory responsibilities

    ***LANGUAGE SKILLS***

    This position requires the ability to write and communicate in English with co-workers, customers and the general public.

    ***MATHEMATICAL SKILLS***

    This job requires the ability to do and understand basic math.

    **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**

    Must sit for extended periods of time driving to multiple locations. Able to walk, load and unload and work on uneven surfaces, climb flatbed or ladders, push-pull and lift items 30 to 50 pounds. Able to use hands to hold, grasp, push and pull.

    **WORK ENVIRONMENT:**

    Drive to different vendor locations and Fiore shop to different project locations exposed to weather conditions and in-shop atmosphere with loud noises and fumes; work on/around heavy/moving machinery; bend, walk, stand, sit for extended time; use hand tools.
