Job Summary:

We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Leader to provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, while serving as a role model and clinical leader for other staff. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and adhering to our policies and procedures.

Job Duties:

• Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients
• Implement and document individualized care plans incorporating age specific considerations
• Administer medication, including IV medication, via the Seven Rights
• Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden, adverse developments in patients
• Ensure that patient medical records contain necessary information
• Encourage patients to actively participate in their own care by asking questions and reporting treatment or situations that they do not understand or that may not seem right

Qualifications:

• RN license in the state of NM
• Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
• 2 years of directly related experience
• CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
