    This position will follow our hybrid work model, we expect the selected candidate to be in office 2-3 days a week at one of the following office locations: St.

    Petersburg, FL; Memphis, TN; Southfield, MI; Denver, CO.

    Job Summary:


    The manager of NonStop Engineering is charged with leading the team responsible for the operation and support of the HP NonStop platform, which is used at Raymond James to run critical back office online and batch processing.

    Candidates are required to have experience in the field of IT infrastructure management. Knowledge of the NonStop or similar centralized data processing platforms is preferred but not required. Experience with distributed computing technologies is desirable.

    Key responsibilities of the position include ensuring the stability and performance of the system, while forming collaborative relations with peer organizations such as development, scheduling services, and database administration.

    Proven leadership skills are needed to maintain and develop an engaged and effective team.

    The manager is responsible for the delivery of team goals and objectives, as well as adherence to established policies and procedures.

    Therefore, strong organizational and administrative abilities are required.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manages competing demands to ensure successful delivery established goals, while maintaining system stability. Must by flexible, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities.
    • Monitors ticket queue (Service Now) and allocates resources to meet or exceed targeted service levels.
    • Reviews Privileged Access Reports on a daily basis and otherwise is responsible for compliance with all audit requirements.
    • Identifies and captures key metrics needed to effectively manage the NonStop environment
    • Partners with QA and Change Management teams to enforce software release procedures.
    • Provides leadership in the troubleshooting and resolution of incidents.
    • Ensures platform design decisions align with broader IT architectural direction.
    • Provides timely and thorough project and problem updates to immediate supervisor.
    • Performs workforce management to accurately forecast and monitor resource capacity.
    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
    Qualifications

    Experience and Skills:

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience including management or leadership experience
    • HP NonStop Systems experience is nice to have, but not required.
    • Financial Services experience is nice to have

    Experience in the following:
    project management, enterprise implementation, leadership experience, business acumen, application development.


    • May occasionally work a non-standard schedule including nights and/or weekends and/or have on-call responsibilities.
