    About the Role

    In this role, you will have the outstanding opportunity to craft and lead our event technology strategies, ensuring flawless execution of world-class events. Your expertise and proven track record in event technology will be essential in driving our success and enabling us to compete at the highest level.

    About You

    Responsibilities:

  • Lead the center of excellence responsible for registration, attendee management and digital event experiences for Workday's user conferences and executive events.
  • Lead a strong team delivering on design, implementation and management of registration platform and services, session scheduler, virtual event user experience, etc.
  • Act as the Experience Marketing business lead to the MarTech, Business Technology, Marketing Automation, Business Analytics, Business Technology and policy teams to drive the requirements for the event technology roadmap focusing on platform consolidation and data centralization.
  • Define the optimal digital attendee experience with program leaders as it relates to the event registration process, digital platforms, mobile app, audience engagement tools, language translations, closed captioning, event surveys and other touchpoints. (Partner on this for Rising and lead for all other events).
  • Lead livestream platform strategy and user experience design, in partnership with the broadcast and creative teams.
  • Advise on configuration of registration workflows, written business requirement documents and project timelines across key events.
  • Develop and implement standardized approaches for event tech related strategies aligning with collaborator needs.
  • Partner with data strategy team to align on end-to-end reporting requirements prior to build, and develop critical metrics/goals to accurately measure success.
  • Collaborate on audience acquisition strategy with the event strategy team.
  • Set and lead GDPR, CCPA and policy standards for Experience Marketing to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain an active understanding of internal policies and procedures related to event communications, data privacy/sharing, and gifting.
  • Handle the technology infrastructure budget.
  • Represent Experience Marketing on key initiatives and internal councils.
  • Establish and lead effective processes, meetings and timelines and regularly communicate any interdependencies.
  • Lead vendor relationships required to support programs.
  • Contribute to post-event debriefs and presentations summarizing event performance to communicate key takeaways and future improvements.
  • Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of demonstrated success in marketing
  • Experience working with programs that support sales and drive pipeline.
  • Experience with event platforms (preferably with RainFocus, Brightcove, Stova, Braindate, Eventbase.

  • Proficient using Google Suite, MS Office Applications, Slack and other enterprise applications.

    The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
