Position Overview

Packer ensures that orders are packed securely and shipped out correctly and within cycle time.

This position works Monday through Friday 6AM-2:30pm.

What you'll do

•  Complying with all facility safety rules and regulations.
• Reporting any unsafe practices and/or conditions to their supervisor.
• Wearing required personal protective equipment properly and reporting any defective PPE.
• Reporting all near misses, accidents, injuries or illnesses, including Musculoskeletal symptoms or disorders. 
• Lifting is required.
• Some packages may weigh up to 70 lbs.
• You will be on the dock from time to time

Who you are?

• High school graduate
• Ability to use and read a tape measure
• General knowledge of fabrics
• Ability to use hand tools
• Successfully pass color blind test
• Regular attendance is required
• This job operates in a production environment
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
• Standing up to seven hours or more per shift
• Must be able to complete various activities that may require lifting or carrying in all directions
• Occasionally pushing / pulling while moving carts and buggies
• Occasionally ascends or descends ladders
• Frequently operating machinery and hand tools
• All other duties as assigned
