    Job Description:

    We are an asset-based LTL carrier with customer service as a priority to meet the transportation and logistics needs of our customers. With Customer Service mind set, the Pre-Order Delivery Driver is responsible for operating a Tractor Trailer or straight truck to deliver, and pick-up products to and from customers in assigned route. Position involves loading, unloading, delivery, product accounting and other functions involved in servicing a variety of customers. Depending on your assigned route, you will have an average of 16-20 stops a day, driver will work 10-12 hours average shifts and return home every day.

    What you bring:
    • The Delivery Driver is also responsible for always maintaining a clean and organized work area.
    • Deliver product to customers in an efficient, timely, courteous, and accurate manner.
    • Load or unload product manually or pallet-jack onto and off the truck. Ensure load is properly secured.
    • Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities.
    • Collects or picks up returns, damaged, rejected, or unsold merchandise.
    • Ensure that all accounts are maintained according to the customer, or account agreement.
    • Submit all customer paperwork and deposits daily, including invoices, load orders, and reports.
    • Listens to and resolves customer complaints.
    • Checks load security prior to travel and at each stop, adjusting when needed.
    • Complete all daily DOT and customer paperwork including delivery, pre and post trip inspections, driver logs, and vehicle service reports.
    • Know and comply with all Department of Transportation regulations per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations handbook,
    • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
    • Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas.
    • Responsible for transportation, pre-requisite programs related to designated area. Report any unsafe practices related issues to management immediately. Perform other duties as assigned.
    Job Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or GED preferred; or two years related experience preferred and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 3+ Years of experience with CDL License required Class A, B with Air Brake, Tanker endorsement, and Hazmat.
    • Able to stand, walk, kneel and bend required for virtually the entire shift.
    • Able to operate electric and manual pallet jacks moving pallets of product with weights ranging up to 2482 pounds.
    • Must pass a road test and be able to drive all routes and in all types of terrain, including, but not limited to, mountains, steep inclined roads, curvy highways, desert areas, bridges, tunnels, etc
    • Pulling, pushing product across rough, uneven surfaces, up and down inclines, pulling onto and off lift gates.
    • Must be willing to work flexible hours including, weekends and holidays when required.
    • Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must have a clean driving record.
    • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background and criminal checks).
