    Qualifications:


    The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision of the security team and is accountable for ensuring that the security team carries out and fulfills all specified tasks.


    The Shift Supervisor actively monitors, reviews, and records the daily performance of all security teams, identifying areas for improved operational effectiveness and staff engagement.


    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    The Shift Supervisor will have primary responsibility for ensuring that vendor Post Orders are carried out to the highest standard, ensuring that the requirements as outlined the Post Orders are adhered to

    Ensure that all incidents, emergencies, and site issues are reported, escalated, and managed in compliance with contract standards

    Oversee a functioning documented shift handover process verbally and via email for operational effectiveness.

    Utilize a shared documentation management system

    Track and provide daily and weekly shift updates; significant operational events and requirements, team meetings, communications, logistics, security team officer interviews conducted, and training completed

    Ensure that any operational observations that are identified are actioned and followed up on in a timely manner

    Issue site security management with operational reports as requested or on a routine basis

    Drive the development of an excellent security culture, leading by example, and setting standards (dress, deportment, etc.), whilst displaying passion and enthusiasm for the role

    Lead and support the security team during all operations, incident escalation and response

    Ensure all security posts are manned in line with the contract requirements

    Be prepared to provide support and relief to posts where required

    Any additional duties as assigned by the Security Operations Mangager or Client


    Qualifications:
    Demonstrates an ability to lead a diverse team of individuals through varying and competing demands

    Applicants must meet one or any reasonable combination of the following requirements:Two years of customer service experience

    Two years of security experience

    Two Years of Law Enforcement/Public Safety Experience

    Military Experience (Active or Honorably Discharged)

    Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice or a similar field


    Requirements:
    21 years of age

    Valid NC Guard Card preferred

    Trained in CPR and First Aid preferred

    High School Diploma or equivalent

    Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test

    Technology skills:
    operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email

    Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor and appearance

    Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications while performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands

    Familiarity with report writing

    Excellent surveillance and observation skills

    Possess above average written and verbal communication skills

    Possess strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public
