GLG is seeking business litigation attorneys with 5-10+ years of experience who are self-motivated and eager to grow with the firm. This is a hybrid opportunity that will require some in-person attendance at the downtown office on an as-needed and flexible basis. Candidates looking for full-time or part-time positions are encouraged to apply. Portable business is not required.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of case management and deadlines
• Manage and direct all aspects of discovery
• Supervise junior attorneys
• Formulate and draft effective pleadings, motions and responses
• Appear in court to argue motions and evidentiary hearings
• Prepare for, take and defend depositions
• Develop and implement legal strategies that efficiently achieve client goals
• Effectively interface with clients, colleagues, experts, opposing counsel, judges and courthouse staff

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas
• Minimum of 5 years experience in business litigation
• Strong understanding of state and federal rules of civil procedure
• Ability to get along well with others and stay calm under pressure
