- Development of Program and Technical Strategy and Execution for the following:
- Applying network engineering skills in support of the National Space Portfolio (NSP) Sponsor's mission.
- Working with experts in space and integrated ground domains with the opportunity to apply end-to-end terrestrial and MPLS/IP network expertise across a broad spectrum of technical disciplines / capabilities to bring the most current technologies to bear against sponsor's toughest challenges.
- Also work with service providers to design, provision and maintain sponsor long haul communication networks - domestic and international, as well as, the MPLS/IP WAN/CAN/LAN networks.
- Development of technical engineering reports geared for both technical and non-technical audiences / decision makers.
- This position requires an on-site presence of 5 days a week.
- Top Secret/SCI clearance and possess or be willing to obtain a polygraph.
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a technical equivalent and 8 years of related experience.
- Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to obtain/maintain Polygraph.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- TS/SCI with poly.
- Degree in Engineering with emphasis on Networking, or related technical field such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, computer science, or related STEM program.
- Knowledge and experience with IP/MPLS networking as well as with fiber optical transport to include under sea cabling.
- A working understanding of space systems and how they interact with ground systems.
- Prior professional experience in the US Intelligence, Space, or Defense Community.
