    If you seek a rewarding, high profile and challenging position supporting projects for the US Navy- Serco has a great opportunity for you The Non-Propulsion Electrical Systems Engineer position will be on a dynamic team, supporting Team Submarine.

    Serco supports the US Navy as a prime for their Team Submarine SHAPM contract supporting the acquisition of submarines.

    The Team Submarine concept unifies once diverse submarine-related activities into a single submarine-centric organization with the goal of eliminating traditional stovepipe structures and processes that created impediments and inefficiencies in the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities.

    The acquisition of the OHIO Class replacement and for identifying, assembling, managing, directing, and coordinating the resources required for the R&D, design, construction, Test and Evaluation (T&E) and Live Fire Test and Evaluation (LFT&E) of the COLUMBIA Class.

    The program is a major defense acquisition program and is of significant political importance with Congress and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).

    The acquisition of New Construction Submarines and for identifying, assembling, managing, directing, and coordinating the resources required for the R&D, design, construction, Test and Evaluation (T&E), Live Fire Test and Evaluation (LFT&E), and Fleet introduction of the U.Navy's newest class of nuclear attack submarines.

    The program is a major defense acquisition program with a total life cycle cost of approximately $336B.

    Additionally, successful improvement of the Class's capabilities is of significant political importance with Congress and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).


    Serco-NA is seeking a motivated engineer to provide engineering and programmatic support to one of our customers with the U.Provide engineering and systems engineering support to the Program Office.

    Generate Acquisition documentation for Milestone Reviews.

    Perform technical planning, cost, schedule, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analysis for total systems; analyses performed at concept, design, test, evaluation, and operational phases.

    Set high personal standards for performance and conduct.
    Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision.
    A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or similar technical degree (Physics, Chemistry, etc.).
    A current or active DoD Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
    Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
    The ability to travel at least 10% of the time.

    Possess work experience in the Navy, specifically within Team Submarine or aboard submarines is a plus.
