    Description

    NC Programmer Position at TEL Staffing & HR

    Position Purpose:

    Perform activities related to complex numerical control (NC) programming for NC milling machines and lathes.

    Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Conduct analysis of engineering drawings and tool design to determine optimal machining methods.
    • Interact with various teams to finalize plans.
    • Develop cutter motion logic and verify cutter paths.
    • Create operator set-up sheets and tool drawings.
    • Act as Team Leader when necessary.

    Additional Functions:

    • Assist in training lower level engineers.
    • Help in formulating Numerical Control policies.
    • Perform other assigned duties.

    Education And Work Experience Requirements:

    Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field with 4 years of experience including 2 years as a numerical control engineer.

    Other Requirements:

    • NC Programmer using Catia V5 or MasterCam.
    • Experience creating Catia 3D models from 2D prints.
    • Flexible work schedule.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Catia modeling, drafting, and NC Mill function.
    • Strong knowledge of machining and drafting methods.
    • Demonstrated expertise in support of company policies.
