    Salary Range - 90K to 120K USD Annually

    Position Overview:

    TMC is calling for skilled and experienced Optics Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in refractometry to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of optical systems, with specific expertise in refractometry, and a strong background in designing, developing, and implementing optical devices and systems

    What you will be doing:

    • Optical System Design: Design, develop, and optimize optical systems with a focus on refractometry applications. This includes conceptualization, simulation, prototyping, and testing of optical components
    • Refractometry Expertise: Utilize knowledge and experience in refractometry to create innovative solutions for measuring refractive indices and related optical properties. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate refractometry into various products and systems
    • Research and Development: Stay current with advancements in optical engineering and refractometry. Participate in research to identify new technologies and techniques that could enhance existing systems or lead to the development of new products
    • Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of optical systems to ensure they meet specifications and performance standards. Develop and implement test protocols and procedures for refractometry-based applications
    • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other engineers, researchers, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of optical systems into broader projects. Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to stakeholders
    • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure all optical systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols. Address any issues or concerns related to optical design and performance
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of design processes, test results, and system specifications. Prepare reports and technical papers as needed
    • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to optical systems and refractometry. Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement measures as necessary.

    What you bring along:

    • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A higher degree is a plus.
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in refractometry, with a proven track record of designing and implementing optical systems. Experience with optical design software and simulation tools is required.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in refractometry techniques, optical design principles, and related software tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
    • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and precision
