    Our growing Bergen County personal injury law firm in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a full-time Accounting Clerk to join the team.

    Comprehensive benefits package is available, which includes free employee medical coverage.

    Compensation:

    $40,000 - $50,000 DOE

    Responsibilities:

    Including but not limited to the following:

    • Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable responsibilities
    • Data entry of vendor bills; weekly check preparation assuring invoice accuracy
    • General ledger coding and posting of journal entries
    • Monthly bank account and credit card reconciliations
    • Daily bank deposits and posting of payments to proper clients and invoices
    • Assist in monthly financial reports
    • Handling confidential and sensitive information professionally and with discretion
    Qualifications:
    • 2-year college accounting degree
    • Minimum 3-5 years experience in the accounting field
    • Law firm experience a plus
    • Excellent organization skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Accuracy and attention to detail are a must
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
