Summary
Manages, either directly or through subordinates, various aspects of the accounting and compliance functions including cash and trade payables, and revenue recognition.
Reviews employee work products, understands and maintains appropriate internal controls, communicates company policies, interfaces with auditors, and provides management with data required to manage the company.
Job Responsibilities & RequirementsA Brief Overview
Manages, either directly or through subordinates, various aspects of the accounting and compliance functions including cash and trade payables, and revenue recognition.
Reviews employee work products, understands and maintains appropriate internal controls, communicates company policies, interfaces with auditors, and provides management with data required to manage the company.
What You Will DoPrepare, maintain and audit monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
Manage an accounting staff, program administrator, and accounts payable supervisor.
Supervise various programs with third parties such as car leases, car rentals, and credit card progams.
Assist in multi-departments efforts including audits, new systems implementation, due diligence and special projects.
Provide detail analysis, comparisons and forecasting of varoius accounting activities.
Qualifications
Bachelors Accounting required andMasters Related Field preferred6+ Years Experience in an accounting role required2+ Years team lead and/or project managment experience preferredAble to use Microsoft Office ApplicationsCertified Public Accountant (CPA) - External Agency/Certifier Upon Hire preferred

Additional Requirements
5% National summits, site visits.
Physical Demands
This role is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role.
