Job Description:

The Custodian Substitute is responsible for performing routine custodial activities at assigned school sites or facilities. The successful candidate will maintain buildings, locker rooms, and adjacent ground areas in a clean, orderly, and secure condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean classrooms, restrooms, locker rooms, shops, cafeteria, offices, and related facilities as assigned.
• Maintain security of buildings and report safety hazards to appropriate authorities.
• Perform minor repairs and assemble furniture, supplies, and equipment as needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment and respond to emergency cleanups.
• Prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.

Please note that this is an on-call position with variable hours and shifts. Successful applicants must be willing to work Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM as needed.
