- Must have 2 years of experience in commercial and industrial plumbing systems.
- Must have a valid forklift certification.
- Must fully understand sequence of operations for large systems.
- Must have the ability to follow plans, diagrams, specifications, drawings, and blueprints.
- Must be able to determine the appropriate equipment necessary to do the job.
- Must be able to provide efficient, diplomatic, professional customer service.
- Must be willingness to be a team player.
- Must pass Quality Control GMP testing.
- Must have working knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to read, write and understand written information in English.
- Must be able to work weekends Saturday and Sunday when required.
- Must pass background check.
- Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity.

Job DescriptionPURPOSE:
To perform preventive maintenance tasks in commercial and industrial plumbing systems and install new systems as
directed by supervisor.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Respond to Sanitation, Chlorine, and other facility departments service calls, diagnose problem and complete
applicable repairs to meet all standards of building codes and safety.
Install and repair any of the following items:
Water heaters, faucets, toilets, boilers, and any other plumbing fixtures. Install new systems based on drawings
(copper, PVC, crimping tool). Identify and document findings during preventative maintenance and report findings to
shift supervisor. Re-design faulty configurations when needed. Communicate well with team members, and other
department's personnel to ensure work orders are completed on time. Multitask and prioritize task depending on high
importance and/or workload. Prepare estimating, parts, and material lists. Follow policy regarding purchase orders
for all material / equipment purchases. Completion of work orders / service ticket for all projects completed.
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by complying to all established safety, plant policies and
procedures. May be asked to rotate to a different area of the plant based on business needs. Perform other duties as
assigned by the supervisor.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position throughout much of the working day. Ability to move about inside food
processing facilities and in the farming fields. Ability to work on and build equipment. Ability to operate hand and
power tools. Ability to inspect equipment and product. Ability to work outdoors. Must be able to work in a wet
environment. Must be able to work in hot/cold temperatures. Must be able to work in different temperatures (working
temperatures as hot as 100°ree; to 110°ree; F and as cold as -20°ree; F to 32°ree; F). Must be able to work in a high noise area.
Must be able to move items weighting up to 75 lbs.
