    Job DescriptionThe GE Aerospace Engineering Team is looking for experienced systems integration engineers who are ready to work on the fastest growing engine in Aviation history, LEAP.

    The LEAP engine is a culmination of cutting-edge technology, world-class reliability and unparalleled performance, and is the engine of choice to power the Airbus A320neo, the Boeing 737 MAX, and the COMAC C919.LEAP's 15% reduction in fuel burn (over prior generation of narrowbody applications) is moving the needle on sustainability today and proving out the next generation of sustainable technologies like ceramic composites, advanced turbine cooling, and additive manufacturing.

    Our LEAPengine incorporates some of GE's latest technological innovations which are challenging our engineers to test the limits of what is possible and define non-traditional design solutions that keep GE Aerospace at the forefront of innovation.

    The LEAP-1A Systems Integration Engineer will be part of the Team in Cincinnati, OH.

    They will refine technical expertise and leadership skills by working integration across dynamics, acoustics, and heat transfer related to fleet stability, airframe, and customer activities that ultimately power our customers, lift people up and bring them home safely.

    Essential ResponsibilitiesExecute, with guidance from senior engineering resources, the integration required to design and support engine components, assemblies or systems that meet business standards and LEAP product / program requirements.

    Develop in-depth knowledge in systems integration across disciplines while using prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute in consistency with engineering policies and proceduresUse interpersonal skills to collaborate with peers and provide direction and mentoring to new team membersDocument and communicate results of technical data generatedPrepare and present technical data to support internal and external customers; participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviewsShare engineering information, promote open dialogue, and provide timely communications on significant issues or developmentsQualifications/RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or universityAt least 3 additional years of experience in an engineering design positionDesired CharacteristicsDemonstrated experience in systems integrationDemonstrated experience in turbomachinery design or airframe integrationPositive, motivated, quick learner who has a passion for the aerospace industry, our customers, and our productsFamiliarity with design, test and analysis tools and systemsDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problemsStrong oral, written, interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to lead initiative of moderate scope and impactEstablished project management skills and ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously#LI-EDRICH#LEAPThis role requires access to U.S.
