    Description

    Department Overview

    Operations Support aims to establish consistent standards in Operations through support services that adhere to best practices and strive for continuous improvement. The team is responsible for Work Management & Resource Planning, Execution Support, Business Operations & Process Improvement, PG&E Academy, and Enterprise Public Works. It consists of around 1,000 employees.

    Position Summary

    This role involves preparing and delivering technical training, assessing student progress, and maintaining industry expertise to enhance curriculum design. Responsibilities include technical instruction, evaluation, record-keeping, research, and improvement initiatives.

    PG&E provides a competitive hourly rate ranging from $56.73 to $90.38 for this position, based on factors like skills, education, experience, and location.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate career instructor responsibilities effectively.
  • Act as a safety role model.
  • Manage classroom environment and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
  • Deliver course content, provide feedback for curriculum enhancement, and lead technical training sessions.
  • Review feedback, collaborate with curriculum developers, and communicate student feedback for improvement.
  • Integrate new training methods, promote collaboration, and accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Administer exams in compliance with company standards.

    • Qualifications

    Minimum:

  • High School or GED Diploma
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in training subject
  • PG&E certification within 12 months

    • Desired:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Completion of PG&E Electric Distribution Operator Apprenticeship
