Position Summary
This position is responsible for taking possession of processed parts and polishing and preparing the parts for final staging, preparation, and delivery to the customer. This person will utilize specific tools and cleaning chemicals necessary to polish parts, while examining the parts to identify any defects or flaws comparing them against a pattern. While polishing, this person may do one or any of the following tasks for inspection-visually inspect, measure, and clean parts for approval, disapproval, or further processing, depending on thorough inspection. This person must be able to adequately communicate their findings to Plating Technicians and/or the Quality Engineer, asking questions, when necessary. This position may require the general use of hand tools, cleaning agents, and measuring instruments.
