    What you will be doing:
    As the Service Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations of the A/V systems. Your responsibilities extend beyond routine maintenance to troubleshooting operational issues. Additionally, you'll be installing firmware upgrades and promptly addressing system outages.

    Your diverse tasks also include answering user queries, performing weekly system checks, configuring system silencing events in accordance with City guidelines, and ensuring a comprehensive daily work log submitted monthly to the City or as requested.


    What we are looking for:

    • Associate Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering required.
    • Experience with basic network troubleshooting required.
    • Experience in providing technical support for A/V systems and collaboration tools.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills in identifying and resolving operational issues.
    • Knowledge of firmware upgrades and patches installation on A/V equipment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist end users effectively.
    • Experience with system silencing events and adherence to specified guidelines.
    • Capability to escalate and collaborate on unresolved issues within the organizational structure and or manufactures.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain an organized daily log of work performed.

    • Physical Requirements:
    The physical requirements of this role play a pivotal role in ensuring job performance and success. The employee will be engaged in extended periods of sitting while operating a wide range of office equipment.

    While the work primarily involves sedentary tasks, there may be occasions that call for standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.

    It is essential for employees to possess proficiency in utilizing standard office tools like computers, printers, and telephones.

    Furthermore, adequate manual dexterity and eyesight are necessary to effectively handle tasks involving reading, writing, interpreting, and managing paperwork with precision and efficiency.


    In a typical office setting, the employee will communicate and engage with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental conditions.

    Although the role mainly takes place indoors, there might be occasional exposure to outdoor elements such as heat, cold and environmental elements.
